Church Family,
One of the things I am most grateful for in this season is the way God continues to draw our church family toward Himself.
We are continuing our Pray Like Jesus series, and my prayer is that these weeks would do more than teach us about prayer. I want us to learn from Jesus and grow in our own time alone with God. The closer we walk with Him, the more we learn to trust Him with every part of our lives.
And we do not only want to talk about prayer. We want to practice it.
This Saturday, September 5, we will gather for First Saturday Prayer at our Champions Campus. There is something special about coming together simply to seek the Lord, and I hope you’ll join us. My prayer is that prayer would not only be something we study, but something that increasingly marks us as a church.
I am also excited to share that Champion Forest Worship is releasing new music. Next Wednesday, September 9, our new song, Is Anyone Like You (Yahweh), recorded live at Camp this summer, will be available wherever you listen to music. It is the first of several songs we plan to release over the coming year, and I am grateful for what God is stirring in the worship life of our church, and I am excited for you to hear it. We’ll be singing it together this Sunday, and beginning tomorrow, you can pre-save it on your favorite streaming platform.
There are many opportunities before us this fall to keep taking those steps together, from The Grove tonight for our young adults and Beloved Women’s Night later this month, to our Resilience prayer and renewal conference in October. I hope you’ll make plans to be part of them. You’ll find more information below.

Champion Forest Worship is releasing a new single, Is Anyone Like You (Yahweh), next Wednesday, September 9. Recorded live at Camp this summer, it is the first of several songs we plan to release this year.

Our weekly worship gathering for young adults is back tonight at 7:00 p.m. at our Champions Campus. Worship, teaching, and real community with people in the same season of life. If you know a young adult who needs to be in a room like this one, invite them. A simple invitation can make an eternal difference.
Beloved Women’s Night is Thursday, September 24, from 7:00–9:00 p.m. at our North Klein Campus. Doors open at 6:00 p.m.
Join us for worship with the CF Women’s Praise Team, fellowship, a special gift, and two sessions with Bible teacher Lisa Harper. The evening will also include a special announcement about what is next for CF Women’s Discipleship. $30 online / $40 at the door.
Champion Forest is hosting Resilience, a three-day prayer and renewal conference from Strategic Renewal. Although ministry leaders from around the country will attend, the conference is open to everyone. Expect expository teaching, corporate prayer, and practical encouragement, with plenary speakers including Pastor Jarrett, Alistair Begg, and H.B. Charles Jr., plus musical guests Shane & Shane. Simultaneous Spanish translation in all main sessions.
