Church Family,

Typically, the month of May is full of celebrations. From graduations to Mother's Day to Memorial Day, this month is all about honoring those we are thankful for or that have achieved a significant milestone in their life. Recently, we had our Parent Commitment in our weekend services, and it's always fun to celebrate these new parents and encourage them in the discipleship of their child.

As a church, one of my favorite times in our worship service is when we cheer on those who are making public their faith in Christ and being baptized. I love watching families and life groups stand in support as someone is baptized—and seeing that person rise from the water with a big smile and arms raised in celebration!

Life change! It's what we're all about here at Champion Forest.

It's why we host Vacation Bible School each summer.
It's why we take students to camp.
It's the motivation behind every ministry we implement, every program and event we put on, and every mission endeavor we undertake.

We want to see changed lives, and we love celebrating what matters most to the Lord.

Would you make this a matter of prayer in your life? Would you pray for God to continue to allow us to see life change through the ministries of this church, specifically this summer? Would you pray for God to burden your heart and deepen your desire to see people come to know him?

I promise you, if you begin praying this, when we celebrate baptism in a service, you'll be the loudest cheerer in the room.

I love you, Champion Forest, and am privileged to serve as your Pastor. Thank you for how you are giving, serving, and going so that the Kingdom is advanced in Northwest Houston, and around the world.

Easter Weekend Recap

Before we look forward to all that God has in store for us this summer, it's important to take a moment and look back at what God did just a few weeks ago...

Easter weekend was nothing short of incredible.

CF Family, get this... from Good Friday through Easter Sunday, over 17,000 people gathered across our campuses—and God did what only HE can do.

We shared the gospel boldly and saw at least 213 people place their faith in Jesus for the very first time. These are just the ones we know about—people who gave us their names, prayed with us, and received a Bible to start their journey. Thank you, Lord!

We also witnessed 73 people baptized, saying to the world, "I believe in Jesus!".

Thank you, Champion Forest, for every invite, every volunteer hour, and every dollar given that helped make this weekend possible.
