Easter Weekend Impact

What an Easter weekend we just experienced. Because you gave, served, and invited, we saw our highest attended Easter weekend ever with 17,298 people across our campuses on Good Friday and Easter.

Even more importantly, we know of 223 people who gave their lives to Christ. Easter is all about hope, the hope of the life we have in Christ, and I will never get over seeing lives changed by the gospel. This is what it is all about.

Personally, one of the moments I will carry with me from Easter weekend was standing on the front row, hearing the voices of our church lifted in worship. There was a moment where I just stopped and took it in, and I found myself overwhelmed with gratitude. To hear thousands of voices singing about the risen Christ, to know the stories represented in that room, and to witness what God is doing in and through this church… it moved me deeply. I am so thankful to be a part of this movement of God called Champion Forest. What a privilege it is to serve alongside you.

Champions Campus: NEXT Flex Update

I want to take a moment to celebrate something really significant for our church family. Because of your faithfulness through NEXT, we are now stepping into our very first project. The renovation of our Worship Center at the Champions Campus is about to begin.

This is a big moment for our church. We are investing in a space that will serve the next generation of people who walk through our doors, hear the gospel, and have their lives changed.

As a result, beginning April 19, our Champions Worship Center will be closed for construction, and all services will move to the Family Life Center Worship Center for this season. We are calling this the NEXT Flex, as we'll all need to stay joyfully flexible!

This is more than a schedule change. It is a step of faith and a visible reminder that what we committed to together is now becoming reality. I truly believe this will position us to make more room for people and continue reaching Northwest Houston and beyond.

And for our North Klein family, I want you to know we are actively moving forward as well. We have begun the engineering and architectural design stage for the North Klein expansion, and we look forward to sharing more updates with you very soon.
