Prayer: The Foundation of Everything
About This Sermon
Steven Morris teaches from Nehemiah 1 on prayer as the foundation for everything believers do. When Nehemiah heard devastating news about Jerusalem, his first response was not action but days of weeping, fasting, and prayer. He prayed with worship, confession, and bold confidence in God's promises because he knew Scripture well.
The message calls us to the biblical pattern: pray first, then act. Steven encourages us to pray for a genuine burden for people whose lives are in ruin, and to pray with holy boldness based on what God has actually promised in His Word.
