About This Sermon
Steven Morris teaches from Nehemiah 4–6 about staying committed to God's work when opposition comes. Nehemiah faced direct threats, false prophets, and constant distractions, yet he refused to leave the wall. He kept his focus by maintaining a God-sized view of the work, a realistic view of his enemies, a disciplined view of his fear, and a constant practice of prayer.
Steven applies these four commitments to everyday life: the great works God calls us to may not be visible or popular, but they glorify Him. When opposition comes through distraction, bad advice, or fear, we evaluate everything by Scripture, remember that God is greater than any threat, and keep talking to God in short, honest prayers while we keep moving.
