Church Family,
I hope you are having an incredible summer. I just got back from an annual trip I do with my family in the mountains of Colorado. For the last ten years we have made our way to Sky Ranch Family Camp and in the process have made some amazing memories together. From climbing ropes courses to riding horses to kayaking (see pics below), to worshiping together as a family, it's always a wonderful time to jumpstart the summer and get a week of refreshment and rest.
Those two words: refreshment and rest are so important. My prayer is that you will get to experience both at some point this summer while on break or vacation.
While you are on break, I want to encourage you to stay up with what's going on here at Champion Forest! With VBS next week, and our summer camps around the corner, we need your prayers and support.
We will continue to keep you updated on our Road Trip as it relates to giving. Our summer preaching series is called: Stronger: Building a Faith That Lasts. If you're out of town, engage with us online if able and continue getting stronger spiritually as we dive into God's Word each week.
Finally, I want to remind you to pray for us! Outside of Easter, Vacation Bible School is the biggest outreach we have to our community. We will have so many families and guests on our campus. Thank you so much to all who are serving next week. You are making an eternal difference!
Please join me tomorrow (Saturday) at 8:00am in our chapel at the Champions Campus. This is our First Saturday prayer time, and we will be taking an extended time to pray for VBS and our summer ministry opportunities.
