Fight to the Finish
About This Sermon
Jarrett Stephens teaches from 2 Timothy 4:6-8 on what it means to finish the Christian life well. Paul wrote these words from a Roman prison within days or weeks of his death, charging Timothy and every believer to fight the good fight, finish the race, and keep the faith.
Jarrett shows that Paul's motivation was not merely a reward but the reward-giver, Jesus himself. He then offers three practical ways to finish strong: live with the end in mind, do not be surprised by life's challenges, and remember the people watching you. The message warns against the common barriers that derail believers, including finances, power, pride, sexual sin, family issues, and burnout, while fixing our eyes on Christ.
Scripture: 2 Timothy 4:6-8; Philippians 3:13-14; Ephesians 6:12
