Daniel Henderson teaches from Mark 12:41-44, the story of the widow's offering. Jesus intentionally sat down to watch people give, and he noticed what everyone else missed: a poor widow who gave two small coins. Her quiet gift meant more to Jesus than the large sums of the wealthy because she gave everything she had out of trust in God.
The message reminds us that Jesus sees what others overlook. Our circumstances may leave us feeling invisible or unappreciated, but God is El Roi, the God who sees. He looks at the heart, not appearances. Purity of motive matters to him, and his grace is sufficient for every sacrifice he calls us to make.
