The Fight For Your Life
About This Sermon
Emory Cothen teaches from Romans 12:1-2 on the fight for your spiritual life. He shows that many Christians are passive and numb to the battle, drifting with a world that leads toward death. The path forward starts with experiencing the mercies of God in Romans 1-11 as the foundation for everything else. Then we must present our whole selves to God as a living sacrifice, not just once but continually, giving every part of our lives to His disposal. Finally, we must play defense against conformity to the world and offense through the renewal of our minds, letting God transform us rather than passively absorbing the culture around us.
