WHAT IS FREEDOM WEEKEND?

Freedom Weekend is a student conference hosted by Champion Forest Students for students in grades 6th – 12th. Freedom Weekend gives students the opportunity to encounter Jesus and be spiritually empowered to live by faith every day! This event is strategically designed to launch students into the new year feeling refreshed, refocused, and ready to live for the glory of God.

THEME: FOR HIS GLORY

At the heart of Freedom Weekend 26 is the theme For His Glory, drawn from Romans 11:36, "For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever, amen."

Over the past year we’ve seen how our students have been incredibly bold in their faith, so for FW26 we felt the Lord guiding us to celebrate their Boldness. At the same time, we want to remind them of the source of their Boldness: The Glory of God, not personal glory. Throughout the weekend we want our students to Experience the Glory of God and from that launch them out to live every moment for the Glory of God bringing others alongside them.

What to Expect

Students will gather for:

• Powerful worship led by our worship team and guest worship leaders
• Dynamic teachings from guest speakers
• Intentional discipleship through "Family Groups" (grade and gender based small groups)

Why Attend?

Freedom Weekend 26 is a life changing experience that serves as a catalyst for students to grow in faith, build meaningful relationships, and discover God’s vision for their lives.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Worship Sessions

Worship sessions will be held at the Champions Campus, featuring worship led by the Champion Forest Worship Team and Guests. During each session, students will hear teaching from a special guest speaker. Our hope is that students will grow in their knowledge of God’s word and that they will connect with the message they hear in each session.

Family Group Time

Family groups are designed for community! Our goal is to help students engage and connect with other students and share what God is teaching them throughout the weekend. Family Groups are gender-based and are made up of 15-20 students in the same grade and will be led by adult leaders.

FREEDOM FEST

FreedomFest will allow students to take a small break from the sessions and hang out with their friends in a fun environment filled with music, food, games, and fun activities.

Breakout Sessions

Breakout sessions will be available during Freedom Fest and will provide students with the opportunity to listen and learn more about topics that interest them. The Breakout session line up will be available soon!

House Wars

At Freedom Weekend 26 students will be assigned into one of three Houses. These teams will compete in various games and challenges to earn points for their house. The winning house will be crowned the winner at the end of the weekend!

Food

With a ticket of admission each student will be provided two meals. Lunch and dinner will be provided on Saturday, Feb 1st. Food trucks will be available as additional snack options during Freedom Fest.

Registration and Check-In

Students will arrive at the Champions Campus and check in on the Lawn. Upon arrival students will receive their family group assignment.
