Revelation 3:14-22

To the Church in Laodicea

14 “And to the angel of the church in Laodicea write: ‘The words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of God’s creation.

15 “‘I know your works: you are neither cold nor hot. Would that you were either cold or hot! 16 So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth. 17 For you say, I am rich, I have prospered, and I need nothing, not realizing that you are wretched, pitiable, poor, blind, and naked. 18 I counsel you to buy from me gold refined by fire, so that you may be rich, and white garments so that you may clothe yourself and the shame of your nakedness may not be seen, and salve to anoint your eyes, so that you may see. 19 Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline, so be zealous and repent. 20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me. 21 The one who conquers, I will grant him to sit with me on my throne, as I also conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne. 22 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.’”

  1. Heavenly Father,

Thank you for carrying me through another night. Thank you for being near. Thank you for blessing me with your ever presence.

Wash me in the blood of your Son. Clothe me, Father, in your righteousness. Fill me with your Holy Spirit.

Help me to be faithful until you call me home or the trumpet sounds.

Re-light the fire within me. May I hide your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.

May I not turn to the right or to the left. May I not turn back, even for a glimpse.

Plant my feet on the solid rock, in the center of your will.

Hallelujah, I am redeemed. Hallelujah. I am saved. Hallelujah, I am a child of the KING.

    Amen.

    1. Gracias padre amado por tocar a mi puerta lléname de tu amor bondad y misericordia ayúdame a seguir tus pasos Padre amado úsame para tu gloria bendita santo de Israel amén 🙏

  2. Dear FATHER, always help me to not be lukewarm, but totally on fire for You and Your Kingdom. Help me to always be ready to answer when You knock. In JESUS’name, I PRAY.

  3. Amen!!! to Terry’s prayer, let us as a Church not be spiritually uncommitted, carnal, & compromising. No one wants lukewarm ice tea or tepid hot chocolate & neither does GOD. It has to be iced tea or hot chocolate or hot coffee. Laodicea was a materialistic Church, neither hot or cold, wealthy, but spiritually poor. On the outside they looked good, but the inside of their hearts were pitiful, poor, naked, & etc. But if they bought (acquired) from JESUS ( faith in HIM, observable behavior, trust, & belief) things that have eternal value, & invite JESUS into their Church (heart) then they would be rich. He who has ears to hear listen to what the Spirit says to the Churches. Priorities need to change & I’m speaking to myself as well.

  4. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.’” Thank You Lord. May I continue to listen and follow You.
