MISSIONS

MISSIONS

Go. Love. Serve. Pray. Give.

LOCAL MINISTRY PARTNERS

CFBC accomplishes local missions by partnering with several frontline ministry organizations. From helping the homeless to ministering to refugees and victims of human trafficking and everything in between, we sense the call of God on each of us to bring redemption to all of the lost and marginalized in our hometown. Pray for these faithful servants on the frontlines, and ask us how you can join them!

Care Net Pregnancy Center of Houston demonstrates the love of Christ to those facing a pregnancy decision through the provision of spiritual, physical, emotional and educational support and by proclaiming the Gospel. We are committed to upholding the truth that God creates human life in His image at conception.

14530 Wunderlich Dr. Suite 100
Houston, TX 77069
nandakirkpatrick@carenetnw.com

1. More Volunteers to train as peer counselors. Having enough volunteers is the rate-limiting component of our ministry. More volunteers means more women who can be booked in for an appointment.
2. More RN's to train as sonographers. We provide the training to provide limited obstetrical ultrasounds in return for a weekly commitment of a few hours.  Even though elective abortion is no longer legal in Texas, abortion is still readily accessible, so ultrasound images are still critical to Care Net’s ministry.
3. Volunteers who value prayer. We are always in need of the undergirding of prayer for protection of the ministry--staff, volunteers, women seeking help, facilities. Praying that God would direct women and families who are experiencing an unplanned pregnancy to Care Net is something anyone can do—even from home!

richard.hill@missionofyahweh.org

1. For our residents to make wise decisions, and just because government funding may be available immediately for housing, there is benefit for them to stay here, work the program, and not just jump for a quick solution. We want to STOP homelessness and help them escape the cycle of poverty.
2. For Spiritual Change and Growth in our residents. Without a spiritual foundation, cycles tend to repeat themselves and growth does not occur.
3. For our staff. This year we have had a lot of changes with staff, and we are still short handed. As we continue to grow, we pray for our staff to remember the calling and apply what God would have us do and how He would want us to accomplish the tasks at hand.
