Kids Ministry

At CFBC, we value and love each child as one of God’s special creations. We believe that the early years of life are critical spiritual development. Children who in the 1st – 5th grade are beginning to make new and important decisions that will affect their lives forever. We desire for each child to choose the road of the Cross and begin to walk with Jesus through the rest of life.
KidLife Groups
We offer all preschoolers, birth through kindergarten, Sunday morning Bible Study classes (Sunday School) that are closely structured by age with a low teacher/child ratio. We teach biblical truths to preschoolers on their individual levels of development using a hands-on approach. Preschoolers learn by doing--building, painting, cooking, tasting, exploring, and playing as they learn biblical truths.
Curriculum
We use Bible-based, child-centered, developmentally appropriate, and educationally and doctrinally sound material published by Lifeway Christian Resources. [Sample Curriculum] We encourage our teachers to participate in ongoing training throughout the year so they can more effectively understand, teach, and minister to the needs of your child in a safe and nurturing environment. We ask all teachers to complete a volunteer application form for screening purposes.
Staff / Volunteer
Currently, over 225 people serve in the preschool ministry. We are always interested in talking to folks who have a passion for preschool ministry, are interested in assisting in the preschool area, have met the CFBC membership requirements, and wish to serve the Body of Christ. Safety and Health
Standard hygiene practices are enforced for the health and safety of your children and the caretakers. We use a security tag system to monitor the pick up and release of children, and in case of an emergency (fever, accident, illness), parents are paged during the worship service by discreetly posting the last four digits of their phone number on the screens in the worship center.

Membership Class for Kids
This class is designed for kids in grades 1st – 5th, who are transferring their church membership by letter from another Baptist Church, or coming on statement of their faith, seeking baptism and church membership at CFBC.
