Pray for powerful unity and oneness of spirit within the committee.

Oh God, here I am, your servant: set me free for your service.

The CFBC Pastor Search Committee (PSC) will represent our church as they seek God’s will for the selection of our next Senior Pastor.  The search committee will need to be in constant prayer as they embark on their assignment.

Each week’s prayer emphases are organized with scriptures to allow us to pray ‘scripturally’. Hebrews 4:12 says that “God’s Word is alive and powerful, sharper than a two-edged sword”.  When we speak and pray the Scriptures, we are coming into agreement with God. 1 John 5:14 says that “…if we ask anything in accordance with His will, He hears us”.   The Lord promises to answer our prayers when we pray in line with His will.

Additionally, praying the Scriptures will increase our spiritual growth as we memorize His word. We actually learn what God says about certain situations, and by praying His Word you will see His results.

Note: All Biblical quotations are from the English Standard Version (ESV) or the New International Version (NIV).
