Daily Bible Reading (DBR) prepares children for what they will learn on Sunday. Your child will discover new and amazing things about God, Jesus, and the Bible! Encourage your child to have a journal and write what they learn each day. Set a goal to spend time daily reading the Bible and praying with your child. Or encourage them to do so independently.

The Old Testament provides some of the first stories about God’s design for families.

Kids will read about Ruth and her family, Moses’ conversations with families, Abram and Lot, and a couple who
helped Elisha.

Through these stories, the children will learn that families are called to intentionally love
and serve one another. But most importantly, no matter what families look like, they are called to
obey God together.
