Leader Bible Study
For many people, the word creation immediately brings to mind nature -the sun, the stars, trees, animals, and oceans. But creation isn't just about the world around us; it also includes everything we have and everything we do. The Bible reminds us that everything belongs to the Lord-our time, our talents, our possessions, and even our families.
When God created the world, He made everything with purpose and order which includes our friends! In Genesis 1:1-31, we see how God carefully created light, sky, land, plants, animals, and finally humans. Each part of creation was important and had a role to play in God's plan. God looked at everything He made and declared it good-a reflection of His glory and goodness. Everything belongs to Him, and He has entrusted us to care for it, use it wisely, and give glory to Him in all that we do.
Take a moment to think about your life this week. Are you using the things God has given you-your time, your gifts, your energy-to honor Him? Maybe God has given you a special way to serve in your church, at home, or in your community. Just like God placed everything in creation with a purpose, He has placed you in a role to shine His light.
Think about our friends and their lives. They were created with the same intention, love, and purpose as us! God looks at them and us and calls us ALL fearfully and wonderfully made! The way our friends serve and worship may look different but it is not any less valuable. Think about ways they can serve, give back, and share the good news of Jesus! How do you see them shining His light?
As you pray this week, ask God to help you remember that everything belongs to Him. Pray for wisdom to steward your gifts well, for joy in using what He has given you, and for opportunities to point others to His goodness through your life.

Puzzles/Books
Show books and puzzles about nature, animals, creation.
Manipulatives
Give the kids Legos, Magna-Tiles, or other blocks and challenge them to "create" something they heard God create in the Bible Story (an animal, plant, or structure). Have them share what they made and say: "God is the ultimate Creator! He created everything and everything belongs to God."
Nature/Sensory
Allow students to play with the dirt and seeds in the sensory tub. As they are playing, tell the story of what was created each day. Each student will get a small pot to plant a fast-growing seed and cover with dirt, so they can see how a plant is created.
Craft Guide
Give the kids a tub full of consumables (paper, ribbon, stickers, toilet paper rolls, pipe cleaners etc.) and have kids create a living thing with everything on the table. As the kids are creating, say, "God made everything. He made us in His image." Talk about how each part of creation shows how amazing God is.
