{"id":544,"date":"2020-04-27T00:10:07","date_gmt":"2020-04-27T05:10:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.championforest.org\/devotionals\/?p=544"},"modified":"2020-04-26T16:31:52","modified_gmt":"2020-04-26T21:31:52","slug":"april-27-2020","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.championforest.org\/devotionals\/april-27-2020\/","title":{"rendered":"RHYTHM: DAY 8"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>April 27, 2020<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here in Psalm 19 we see\nsome of the more famous words of the Psalms displayed: \u201cLet the words of my\nmouth, and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight.\u201d We find\nhope for things such as: revival of the soul and wisdom (v.7), rejoicing and\nenlightenment (v.8), a clean heart and righteousness (v.9). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But as we read, we see\nthose elements we desire in life as coming from the outflow of our <em>loving\nthe perfect law and testimony of the Lord<\/em>! We have to understand the value\nof God\u2019s commandments and precepts (v.8), and develop a holy and righteous fear\nof the Lord (v.9). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hence, the author\npleads with his master on the outset, to let His mouth and his heart be\npleasing to the Lord!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-ugb-container ugb-container ugb-05433eb ugb-container--v2 ugb-container--design-basic ugb-main-block\" id=\"\"><style>.ugb-05433eb-wrapper.ugb-container__wrapper{border-radius:12px !important;background-color:#f1f1f1 !important}.ugb-05433eb-content-wrapper.ugb-container__content-wrapper{width:100% !important}.ugb-05433eb-wrapper.ugb-container__wrapper:before{background-color:#f1f1f1 !important}.ugb-05433eb-content-wrapper > h1,.ugb-05433eb-content-wrapper > h2,.ugb-05433eb-content-wrapper > h3,.ugb-05433eb-content-wrapper > h4,.ugb-05433eb-content-wrapper > h5,.ugb-05433eb-content-wrapper > h6{color:#222222}.ugb-05433eb-content-wrapper > p,.ugb-05433eb-content-wrapper > ol li,.ugb-05433eb-content-wrapper > ul li{color:#222222}<\/style><div class=\"ugb-inner-block\"><div class=\"ugb-block-content\"><div class=\"ugb-container__wrapper ugb-05433eb-wrapper ugb--shadow-3\"><div class=\"ugb-container__side\"><div class=\"ugb-container__content-wrapper ugb-05433eb-content-wrapper\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Psalm 19<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Law of the&nbsp;Lord&nbsp;Is Perfect<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">To the choirmaster. A Psalm of David.<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p>1\u00a0The heavens declare the glory of God,<br>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0and the sky above\u00a0proclaims his handiwork.<br><sup>2\u00a0<\/sup>Day to day pours out speech,<br>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0and night to night reveals knowledge.<br><sup>3\u00a0<\/sup>There is no speech, nor are there words,<br>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0whose voice is not heard.<br><sup>4\u00a0<\/sup>Their\u00a0voice\u00a0goes out through all the earth,<br>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0and their words to the end of the world.<br>In them he has set a tent for\u00a0the sun,<br><sup>5\u00a0<\/sup>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0which comes out like\u00a0a bridegroom leaving his chamber,<br>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0and, like a strong man, runs its course with joy.<br><sup>6\u00a0<\/sup>Its rising is from the end of the heavens,<br>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0and its circuit to the end of them,<br>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0and there is nothing hidden from its heat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><sup>7&nbsp;<\/sup>The law of the&nbsp;Lord&nbsp;is perfect,<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;reviving the soul;<br>the testimony of the&nbsp;Lord&nbsp;is&nbsp;sure,<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;making wise&nbsp;the simple;<br><sup>8&nbsp;<\/sup>the precepts of the&nbsp;Lord&nbsp;are right,<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;rejoicing the heart;<br>the commandment of the&nbsp;Lord&nbsp;is&nbsp;pure,<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;enlightening the eyes;<br><sup>9&nbsp;<\/sup>the fear of the&nbsp;Lord&nbsp;is clean,<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;enduring forever;<br>the rules&nbsp;of the&nbsp;Lord&nbsp;are&nbsp;true,<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;and righteous altogether.<br><sup>10&nbsp;<\/sup>More to be desired are they than&nbsp;gold,<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;even much&nbsp;fine gold;<br>sweeter also than honey<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;and drippings of&nbsp;the honeycomb.<br><sup>11&nbsp;<\/sup>Moreover, by them is your servant warned;<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;in keeping them there is great reward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><sup>12&nbsp;<\/sup>Who can discern his errors?<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Declare me innocent from&nbsp;hidden faults.<br><sup>13&nbsp;<\/sup>Keep back your servant also from&nbsp;presumptuous sins;<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;let them not have&nbsp;dominion over me!<br>Then I shall be blameless,<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;and innocent of great transgression.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><sup>14&nbsp;<\/sup>Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;be acceptable in your sight,<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;O&nbsp;Lord, my&nbsp;rock and my&nbsp;redeemer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"background-color:#ededed\" class=\"has-background\">The Holy Bible, English Standard Version\u00ae (ESV\u00ae), copyright \u00a9 2001 by Crossway, a publishing ministry of Good News Publishers.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-ugb-divider ugb-divider ugb-458d159 ugb-divider--v2 ugb-divider--design-basic ugb-main-block\" id=\"\"><style>.ugb-458d159 hr.ugb-divider__hr{background-color:#dddddd !important;height:1px !important;width:50% !important;margin-left:auto !important;margin-right:auto !important}.ugb-458d159 .ugb-inner-block{text-align:center}<\/style><div class=\"ugb-inner-block\"><div class=\"ugb-block-content\"><hr class=\"ugb-divider__hr\"\/><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Prayer<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\"><em>O God, Your name is holy.
