So he came and took away his body.&nbsp;<sup>39&nbsp;<\/sup>Nicodemus also, who earlier had come to Jesus&nbsp;by night, came&nbsp;bringing a mixture of&nbsp;myrrh and aloes, about seventy-five pounds&nbsp;in weight.&nbsp;<sup>40&nbsp;<\/sup>So they took the body of Jesus and&nbsp;bound it in&nbsp;linen cloths with the spices, as is the burial custom of the Jews.&nbsp;<sup>41&nbsp;<\/sup>Now in the place where he was crucified there was a&nbsp;garden, and&nbsp;in the garden a new tomb&nbsp;in which no one had yet been laid.&nbsp;<sup>42&nbsp;<\/sup>So because of the Jewish&nbsp;day of Preparation,&nbsp;since the tomb was close at hand, they laid Jesus there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"background-color:#ededed\" class=\"has-background\">The Holy Bible, English Standard Version\u00ae (ESV\u00ae), copyright \u00a9 2001 by Crossway, a publishing ministry of Good News Publishers.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-ugb-divider ugb-divider ugb-c8a2d26 ugb-divider--v2 ugb-divider--design-basic ugb-main-block\" id=\"\"><style>.ugb-c8a2d26 hr.ugb-divider__hr{background-color:#dddddd !important;height:1px !important;width:50% !important;margin-left:auto !important;margin-right:auto !important}.ugb-c8a2d26 .ugb-inner-block{text-align:center}<\/style><div class=\"ugb-inner-block\"><div class=\"ugb-block-content\"><hr class=\"ugb-divider__hr\"\/><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>We know that in the timeline, Jesus is in the grave, but the story doesn\u2019t end there<strong>!
