And he said to them, \u2018Why do you stand here idle all day?\u2019\u00a0<sup>7\u00a0<\/sup>They said to him, \u2018Because no one has hired us.\u2019 He said to them, \u2018You go into the vineyard too.\u2019\u00a0<sup>8\u00a0<\/sup>And\u00a0when evening came, the owner of the vineyard said to his\u00a0foreman, \u2018Call the laborers and pay them their wages, beginning with the last, up to the first.\u2019\u00a0<sup>9\u00a0<\/sup>And when those hired about the eleventh hour came, each of them received a denarius.\u00a0<sup>10\u00a0<\/sup>Now when those hired first came, they thought they would receive more, but each of them also received a denarius.\u00a0<sup>11\u00a0<\/sup>And on receiving it they grumbled at the master of the house,\u00a0<sup>12\u00a0<\/sup>saying, \u2018These last worked only one hour, and you have made them equal to us who have borne the burden of the day and\u00a0the scorching heat.\u2019\u00a0<sup>13\u00a0<\/sup>But he replied to one of them,\u00a0\u2018Friend, I am doing you no wrong. Did you not agree with me for a denarius?\u00a0<sup>14\u00a0<\/sup>Take\u00a0what belongs to you and go. I choose to give to this last worker as I give to you.\u00a0<sup>15\u00a0<\/sup>Am I not allowed to do what I choose with what belongs to me?
