Truly, I say to you,&nbsp;there will not be left here one stone upon another that will not be thrown down.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Signs of the End of the Age<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p><sup>3&nbsp;<\/sup>As he sat on&nbsp;the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him&nbsp;privately, saying, \u201cTell us,&nbsp;when will these things be, and what will be the sign of your&nbsp;coming and of&nbsp;the end of the age?\u201d&nbsp;<sup>4&nbsp;<\/sup>And Jesus answered them,&nbsp;\u201cSee that no one leads you astray.&nbsp;<sup>5&nbsp;<\/sup>For&nbsp;many will come in my name, saying, \u2018I am&nbsp;the Christ,\u2019 and they will lead many astray.&nbsp;<sup>6&nbsp;<\/sup>And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you&nbsp;are not alarmed, for this&nbsp;must take place, but the end is not yet.&nbsp;<sup>7&nbsp;<\/sup>For&nbsp;nation will rise against nation, and&nbsp;kingdom against kingdom, and there will be&nbsp;famines and earthquakes in various places.&nbsp;<sup>8&nbsp;<\/sup>All these are but the beginning of&nbsp;the birth pains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><sup>9\u00a0<\/sup>\u201cThen\u00a0they will deliver you up\u00a0to tribulation and\u00a0put you to death, and\u00a0you will be hated by all nations for my name&#8217;s sake.\u00a0<sup>10\u00a0<\/sup>And then many will fall away\u00a0and\u00a0betray one another and hate one another.\u00a0<sup>11\u00a0<\/sup>And many\u00a0false prophets will arise\u00a0and lead many astray.\u00a0<sup>12\u00a0<\/sup>And because lawlessness will be increased,\u00a0the love of many will grow cold.\u00a0<sup>13\u00a0<\/sup>But the one who endures to the end will be saved.\u00a0<sup>14\u00a0<\/sup>And this gospel of the kingdom\u00a0will be proclaimed throughout the whole world\u00a0as a testimony\u00a0to all nations, and\u00a0then the end will come.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Abomination of Desolation<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p><sup>15&nbsp;<\/sup>\u201cSo when you see the abomination of desolation&nbsp;spoken of by the prophet Daniel, standing in&nbsp;the holy place (let the reader understand),&nbsp;<sup>16&nbsp;<\/sup>then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.&nbsp;<sup>17&nbsp;<\/sup>Let the one who is on&nbsp;the housetop not go down to take what is in his house,&nbsp;<sup>18&nbsp;<\/sup>and let the one who is in the field not turn back to take his cloak.&nbsp;<sup>19&nbsp;<\/sup>And&nbsp;alas for women who are pregnant and for those who are nursing infants in those days!&nbsp;<sup>20&nbsp;<\/sup>Pray that your flight may not be in winter or on a Sabbath.&nbsp;<sup>21&nbsp;<\/sup>For then there will be&nbsp;great tribulation,&nbsp;such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, and never will be.&nbsp;<sup>22&nbsp;<\/sup>And if those days had not been cut short, no human being would be saved. But for&nbsp;the sake of the elect those days will be cut short.&nbsp;<sup>23&nbsp;<\/sup>Then if anyone says to you, \u2018Look, here is the Christ!\u2019 or \u2018There he is!\u2019 do not believe it.&nbsp;<sup>24&nbsp;<\/sup>For&nbsp;false christs and&nbsp;false prophets will arise and&nbsp;perform great signs and wonders,&nbsp;so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect.&nbsp;<sup>25&nbsp;<\/sup>See,&nbsp;I have told you beforehand.&nbsp;<sup>26&nbsp;<\/sup>So, if they say to you, \u2018Look,&nbsp;he is in the wilderness,\u2019 do not go out. If they say, \u2018Look, he is in the inner rooms,\u2019 do not believe it.&nbsp;<sup>27&nbsp;<\/sup>For as the lightning comes from the east and shines as far as the west, so will be&nbsp;the coming of the Son of Man.&nbsp;<sup>28&nbsp;<\/sup>Wherever the corpse is, there the vultures will gather.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Coming of the Son of Man<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p><sup>29&nbsp;<\/sup>\u201cImmediately after&nbsp;the tribulation of those days&nbsp;the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and&nbsp;the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.&nbsp;<sup>30&nbsp;<\/sup>Then&nbsp;will appear in heaven&nbsp;the sign of the Son of Man, and then&nbsp;all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and&nbsp;they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven&nbsp;with power and great glory.&nbsp;<sup>31&nbsp;<\/sup>And&nbsp;he will send out his angels with a loud&nbsp;trumpet call, and they will&nbsp;gather&nbsp;his elect from&nbsp;the four winds,&nbsp;from one end of heaven to the other.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Lesson of the Fig Tree<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p><sup>32&nbsp;<\/sup>\u201cFrom the fig tree learn its lesson: as soon as its branch becomes tender and puts out its leaves, you know that summer is near.&nbsp;<sup>33&nbsp;<\/sup>So also, when you see all these things, you know that he is near,&nbsp;at the very gates.&nbsp;<sup>34&nbsp;<\/sup>Truly, I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place.&nbsp;<sup>35&nbsp;<\/sup>Heaven and earth will pass away, but&nbsp;my words will not pass away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">No One Knows That Day and Hour<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p><sup>36\u00a0<\/sup>\u201cBut concerning that day and hour\u00a0no one knows, not even the angels of heaven,\u00a0nor the Son,\u00a0but the Father only.\u00a0<sup>37\u00a0<\/sup>For as were the days of Noah,\u00a0so will be the coming of the Son of Man.\u00a0<sup>38\u00a0<\/sup>For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking,\u00a0marrying and giving in marriage, until\u00a0the day when Noah entered the ark,\u00a0<sup>39\u00a0<\/sup>and they were unaware until the flood came and swept them all away,\u00a0so will be the coming of the Son of Man.\u00a0<sup>40\u00a0<\/sup>Then two men will be in the field; one will be taken and one left.\u00a0<sup>41\u00a0<\/sup>Two women will be grinding\u00a0at the mill; one will be taken and one left.\u00a0<sup>42\u00a0<\/sup>Therefore,\u00a0stay awake, for you do not know on what day\u00a0your Lord is coming.\u00a0<sup>43\u00a0<\/sup>But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what part of the night\u00a0the thief was coming, he would have stayed awake and would not have let his house be broken into.\u00a0<sup>44\u00a0<\/sup>Therefore you also must be\u00a0ready, for\u00a0the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><sup>45\u00a0<\/sup>\u201cWho then is\u00a0the faithful and\u00a0wise servant,\u00a0whom his master has set over his household, to give them their food at the proper time?\u00a0<sup>46\u00a0<\/sup>Blessed is that servant whom his master will find so doing when he comes.\u00a0<sup>47\u00a0<\/sup>Truly, I say to you,\u00a0he will set him over all his possessions.\u00a0<sup>48\u00a0<\/sup>But if that wicked servant says to himself, \u2018My master\u00a0is delayed,\u2019\u00a0<sup>49\u00a0<\/sup>and begins to beat his fellow servants\u00a0and eats and drinks with\u00a0drunkards,\u00a0<sup>50\u00a0<\/sup>the master of that servant will come\u00a0on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he does not know\u00a0<sup>51\u00a0<\/sup>and will cut him in pieces and put him with the hypocrites.
