And\u00a0the dead in Christ will rise first.\u00a0<sup>17\u00a0<\/sup>Then we who are alive, who are left, will be\u00a0caught up together with them\u00a0in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so\u00a0we will always be with the Lord.\u00a0<sup>18\u00a0<\/sup>Therefore encourage one another with these words.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chapter 5<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Day of the Lord<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1\u00a0<\/strong>Now concerning\u00a0the times and the seasons, brothers,\u00a0you have no need to have anything written to you.\u00a0<sup>2\u00a0<\/sup>For you yourselves are fully aware that\u00a0the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night.\u00a0<sup>3\u00a0<\/sup>While people are saying, \u201cThere is peace and security,\u201d then\u00a0sudden destruction will come upon them\u00a0as labor pains come upon a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.\u00a0<sup>4\u00a0<\/sup>But you\u00a0are not in darkness, brothers, for that day to surprise you like a thief.\u00a0<sup>5\u00a0<\/sup>For you are all\u00a0children\u00a0of light, children of the day.
