Anticipate Feed the Need, coming Sundays, August 15th, 22nd, and 29th at 9:30am and 11:00am in the Worship Center!
Over the progression of three Sundays, we will address and emphasize what we, as believers, are striving for individually and corporately as a church. Feed the Need emphasizes all three facets of our strategy of KNOW, GROW, GO and the needs everyone experiences related to these three values: the need to KNOW God, the need to GROW in our faith, and the need to GO into the church and into the world to serve others and build the Kingdom.
NEED TO KNOW. August 15.
Every person has a need to know the Father intimately, and connect with Him in a relationship that comes only through faith in Jesus. Bring your friends and neighbors to hear a clear presentation of the gospel and experience a celebration of worship!
Every person is created with an innate need to connect with others in community. CFBC creates opportunities in Life Groups for people to grow together in community while growing deeper in faith. Coinciding with Promotion Day for all of our children and students, we will also emphasize getting members who are not yet connected to a small group, connected!
NEED TO GO. August 29.Every person has a desire to meet the needs of others but often do not have a strategy to meet the need. Today CFBC is making it easy. Champion Forest Baptist Church is partnering with four area food banks in NW Houston, to literally Feed the Need of the hungry in our city. Every person is asked to bring non-perishable food items to Life Group classes and designated food drops, as our goal is to fill the pantries of our food banks as a concrete way to minister to our community. Grocery sacks will be passed out on August 22 to remind you of the August 29 focus.
