1. Kenya

There will be two teams going to Nairobi. One team will be working with Into Abba’s Arms orphanage, a Christian school in Nairobi named Spring Valley School, HOREC which is an orphanage for children with AIDS, and Turning Point which is a ministry working with children and families in Kabria which is one of the largest slums in the world. The second team will conduct a 2-day pastor’s conference in Nairobi. The topics covered will be on integrity and righteousness, leading a church, how to study the Scriptures, and sermon preparation. The team will provide a Bible, commentary and concordance to each participant.

2. El Salvador

This summer, our church will send a team to minister to a small Baptist church in the community of Apopa, near San Salvador. From serving the community with a free medical clinic to playing games with children, there is a lot we can do. This trip is family friendly for those with children 13 and up.

3. Honduras

We will travel to Honduras from August 7th -13th, 2010 to work with Youth for Christ. The trip is family friendly.

4. Singapore

The team will distribute literature to Mainland Chinese Tourists, teach ESL and Bible camp with Malaysian Chinese children and help with a Mission point of the Singapore Baptist Convention in Batam, Indonesia.

5. Long Island

The team will return once again to work with Crossroads Baptist Church in Long Island, New York. We will be helping with the annual Fall Festival evangelism, servant evangelism, light repair work, prayer walking and literature distribution.

Past Trips

1. Philippines

Dates: March 13, 2009 - March 21, 2009
Recap:Pastor Fleming led a team designed to minister to Philippine pastors and key leaders through seminars and conferences on church growth, leadership and communication.

2. Long Island

Dates: April 05, 2009 - April 12, 2009
Recap: The team worked in the beautiful, quaint collection of small towns known as Long, Island a little over an hour from New York City. They worked with Crossroads Baptist Church in servant evangelism, light repair work, prayer walking and literature distribution.

3. Kenya

Dates: May 01, 2009 - May 10, 2009
Recap: There are over 14 million orphans in Africa and 2 million are in Kenya. CFBC returned to Kenya to minister to these children and participate in other work projects such as working at a refugee camp.

4. New Mexico

Dates: June 01, 2009 - June 12, 2009
Recap:The focus of this mission project was ministering to the Navajo Native Americans close to Gallup, New Mexico. The team primarily worked construction, taugh Bible school, prayer walked and a hosted block party.

5. El Salvador (High School Only)

Dates: June 13, 2009 - June 20, 2009
Recap: The team of high school students from the CFBC Student ministry and ministered to children in public schools. They gave personal testimonies and led in praise songs.

6. China

Dates: July 01, 2009 - July 31, 2009
Recap:The team taught ESL to Chinese students for three weeks and used the Bible and Christian holidays here in America in the curriculum. Many conversations about Christ were initiated by the students outside the class allowing team members to share their testimony.

7. Canary Islands

Dates: July 03, 2009 - July 13, 2009
Recap: The team traveled to the Canary Islands off the coast of Morocco. They ministered to children on the Island of Fuerteventura at a camp teaching ESL through praise songs and the Bible. This is CFBC's third trip to this fascinating part of the world.

8. Appalachian Mountains (Students)

Recap: The team of CFBC ministry students ministered to children and families in Kentucky in one of the most economically depressed parts of North America in the Appalachian Mountain region.

Recap:This is mission project took college students and young professionals to York, Great Britain. They showed Christ's love in the community with café hospitality, street evangelism, questionnaires, and other practical projects.
