New for this fall the Young Married Adult ministry is beginning a Nearly Married class for engaged couples. As a couple gets ready for the big day, significant life change begins. Anyone who is engaged or dating and thinking seriously about marriage is invited to attend this class as we take a Biblical look into factors like family of origin, roles of the husband and wife, communication, finances and conflict. The format of the class will be discussion oriented and centered on portions of scripture that deal with the topics relevant to the enjoyment of a lifelong marriage. The class will be led by Chad and Dena Payn and meet in room AD-319 at 11am.

Our class will focus on an expositional approach to studying the Word of God. We will examine it from a theological and doctrinal viewpoint and then show how those ideas apply and impact our life for Christ. At the end of the day our focus is to magnify God and His Word so that our lives will be changed for His glory. We will do this through teaching and discussion. Notebooks are suggested for those who like to take notes. Class demographics are married adults in the age range of 25-35.
Cindy Singleton, Mike Singleton
The best place to build a strong marriage is at its starting point. This class is for young married couples who want to form biblical life foundations and deep Christian friendships that will guide them through the beginning stages of marriage and family life. An abundance of fellowship opportunities, class supper groups, biblical teaching and evening Bible studies make this class an exciting place to be.

You will experience a contemporary Bible study class format when you visit our 30 Something morning class. The roundtable seating arrangement facilitates a special blend of lecture and open table discussion. We feel this gives visitors and members an opportunity to 'get-to-know' other class members they might not talk to in a lecture-style seating arrangement. Our class topics range from in-depth Bible teachings to learning how to relate to your spouse. Lifestage: Most of our members have been married 5-15 years and have no children or children birth through 5th grade.
Scott Fenter, John Harrison, Scott Lewis
