Dates 6/24/2008 - 7/24/2008
Leader Jannice Jones
Cost $2000
Description The mission trip to China will include ten teachers who feel called to go and preferably have some ESL experience. We will be teaching teachers how to teach conversational English in ZhengZhou (NW of Shanghai) for three weeks beginning July 1. There will be several preparation meetings for the teachers before departure so they will be prepared to teach five hours a day Monday thru Friday. Curriculum will be given to the teachers and the lessons will focus on American culture. Of course, Christmas and Easter will be taught since we can legally introduce Jesus to the students. We will do some sightseeing on the weekends as well as worshipping in the registered church. Possible places we hope to see on the trip are Xian, Shanghai, and Hong Kong. This is a wonderful opportunity to share the love of Jesus as we teach and make new friends in communist China.
