February 10th-19th
Be in prayer for our team of 12 who will travel to Vancouver from February 10th-19th. The team will work with an interdenominational ministry by presenting the Gospel to people from around the world in Vancouver, BC for the 2010 Winter Olympics. Our members will work at coffee stations, public parking areas, and metro stops. They will give coffee to people with the purpose of starting conversations to share the gospel. This work is perfect for a city whose temperature is expected to be in the 20’s each night.
Alongside striking up conversations, the team will also hand out gospel pins, tracts, and Bibles. Our church has the unique opportunity to encounter hundreds of people from many countries around the world who may have never heard of Jesus Christ and how they can have a personal relationship with Him. As an extension of their work in Vancouver, please pray for their safety and, most importantly, that God will use them to change people’s lives across the globe.
