Gospel Lakes Ministries

Gospel Lakes Ministries is an outreach ministry committed to reaching underprivileged kids and their caregivers with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In particular, Gospel Lakes ministers to inner city children who have a parent in prison. The goal of this ministry is to bring the life changing message of Jesus Christ through free day camp experiences. A typical day at camp may include fishing, hayrides, boating, horseback riding, games, lunch and a message from God's Word. CFBC, along with other area churches, provide volunteers who help run these camps.

HELP Ministries

HELP Ministries was formed in January 1991 in the heart of Kenneth and Debra Walker. Their ministry is to the homeless men and women on the streets of Houston. Every Saturday night, they hold two church services for approximately 150 people.

After the service, they feed them homemade soup and sack lunches which include the message of the Gospel on printed tracts. Kenneth and Debra believe God's word in John 8:32 “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free.” They are transforming lives by taking God's Word and boldly proclaiming it in the streets of Houston.
