Median Married Adults (40-54)
Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh. - Genesis 2:24
We want married adults to see God's plan and help them grow in intimacy with their ultimate soul mate and with their earthly soul mate. As a result, we want to send them into their neighborhoods, work places, and world as examples of God's goodness and great purpose.
Genesis 2:24 is our theme verse. It communicates something about God's purposes, reminds us that God created marriage, and God used his creative power to prepare a perfect mate for Adam and Eve. The verse also tells of the incredible mystery and blessing of two people becoming one. Marriage forms an intimate union like no other; not in best friends, not in twins, not in any other relationship. We’ve tasted the goodness of this intimacy, and we want to help you build a marriage with that kind of intimacy.
Median Married Life Groups (40-54)
8:00am groups on Sundays
We want to encourage all men to attend our group because it is a chance to get to know a group of guys who care a lot about each other. We have an "open chair" philosophy, which means there is always room for one more person. We spend much of our class time sharing concerns and prayer requests and praying for each other. We also study various books of the Bible and other books designed to help men grow in their relationships to Christ and their family.
8:15am groups on Sundays
We currently use a Bible study plan that studies different books of the Bible. Our class is comprised of about 20 faithful attendees who have high school or college-aged children and a few with grandkids. We have quarterly socials and once a month "Dutch treat out to lunch" Sundays. Our format is a prayer request time (forwarded via email to all class members each week) and generally lecture-type Bible study with feedback and input from members. We have a great time and the absolute neatest class members in the church. Also, being early Bible study, we get the coffee freshest, and we beat the other churches to lunch most every week because we are done with Bible study and worship by 11:00 AM.
11:00am groups on Sundays

Apart from Jesus Himself, no person shaped the history of Christianity like the Apostle Paul, and by the time he was martyred in Rome, Paul helped to form an almost globe-spanning distribution of the gospel. Please join us in our incredible adventure studying the life and teachings of the Apostle Paul. Our dynamic teacher, Mark Lanier, presents interesting seminary level material in a friendly setting, readily understandable for this class of all age groups.
We are a small group of 10-15 men committed to studying God's Word, book by book, chapter by chapter, and verse by verse and seeking His will so that we might walk in a path that is pleasing to Him. We try to focus on one book at a time and apply the teaching to everyday life. Each study is informal and open to questions and group discussions. Our men range in age from 30 to 50 with a mix of single and married men. We meet at 11:00 AM in room LE-202.
Join us for a unique Bible Study experience for married couples at 11:00 am in AE-325. We believe in praying for one another and reaching out to meet the needs of others. We are a fun-loving group who have two teachers so we get the privilege of hearing different perspectives as well as different teaching styles. The teaching is very interactive with a lot of visual aids, discussion, and question & answer. The teaching focus is always on applying the Bible to where we live every day. It helps us build meaningful relationships with those we love most, our family members, and with the Lord. We are planning for you to come visit our class next week; there are empty chairs waiting for you!
Our class combines lecture and interactive discussion. Each person in the class has a choice to participate, add comments, or just listen. The teacher has different applications encourage, challenge, and grow each person's overall walk. Once a month, the class has a fellowship at someone's house or other location, to get to know each other better. Couples and individual spouses are welcome.
Our class does a lot of sharing and praying together. The teaching style is primarily lecture with discussion and lots of examples relating to application of Biblical truths.
Our class is a small, fun group of believers that enjoy studying God's Word and fellowshipping with each other. Our class members truly care about each other and are definitely still young at heart. Our membership is also actively involved in several other ministries of the church. Bible study time is presented in a lecture format with plenty of opportunity for discussion. We welcome guests and new members.
We are a class for couple's ages 40-50 who are parents of teens. In this class we work on mastering the F's: Family, Finances, Friendships, and Faith. Please join us as we look at what God's word has to say about each of these areas, and explore some practical ways to live out our faith each week with those we come in contact with, while we build some great relationships with friends and families going through the same set of circumstances as we are.
Our class style is warm and casual, but very serious when it comes to pursuing the Lord Jesus Christ, sharing one another's burdens through prayer, and presenting well-organized and applicable lessons from Scripture. We always welcome visitors with open arms and do our best to make them feel at home!
