Stephen Trammell
Executive Pastor
Dr. Stephen Trammell is the Executive Pastor. Stephen is responsible for leadership development, staff meetings, strategic planning, vision implementation, hospitality, guest readiness, seminary scholarships, ushers, greeters, deacons, and online devotionals. He also preaches, teaches, and mentors.
Stephen's passion is to know Jesus intimately and to make Him known locally and globally. His goal in ministry is to connect the disconnected to Christ and to lead them into a growing relationship with Christ and into authentic community with other believers so they can become an irresistible influence.
On March 28, 1979, Stephen turned his life over to Christ and followed Him in believer's baptism. At the age of sixteen, he surrendered to God's call to preach. He is a graduate of Louisiana College and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary where he received his Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degrees. He has served as a senior pastor in churches in Louisiana for over 18 years, most recently at Florida Boulevard Baptist Church in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Stephen and his wife, Tonya, have been married since January 5, 1991. Tonya is a certified teacher in elementary and special education. She has taught in both public and private schools as well as fulfilling the role as a stay-at-home mom. Her spiritual gift is teaching God's Word and leading people to find their gift mix for serving through the local church.
They have two children, Tori (14) and Austin (9). Tori enjoys cheering, tumbling, and sports. Austin loves to play basketball, baseball, football, and golf.
